These are the terms for using thevillagestudio.co.uk online store, and by which we supply our products to you. We sell to you, and you, our customer, buy our products accordingly.
Here we tell you who we are, how we will provide our products, how you and we may change or end the contract, what to do if there is a problem and other important information. If you think that there is a mistake or we have omitted anything within these terms, please contact us to discuss.
About
The Village Studio set up its online store thevillagestudio.co.uk in 2023 to showcase the fine art photography of Susie Bigglestone and the late John Bigglestone. We are based near Calne, Wiltshire and also incorporate framing into our services. Our framing service is currently not available online.
Accepting the Terms and Conditions
By using the Site or ordering any products from us you accept these terms and agree to be bound by them. If you do not agree, you may not use our website or order our products. Please store a copy of these terms together with any confirmation of order or dispatch, for future reference.
We may update our Site from time to time to add new products, reflect changes to existing products, our customers’ needs and our business priorities. We may also amend these conditions from time to time.
We do not guarantee that our Site, or its content, will always be available or be uninterrupted. We may suspend or withdraw or restrict the availability of all or any part of our site for maintenance and operational reasons.
It is your responsibility to ensure that anyone using our site on your computer also accepts these terms and conditions.

All content included on this site, such as text, graphics, logos, button icons, audio clips, digital downloads, data compilations, and software, is the property of The Village Studio or its content suppliers. All the photography and art related products for sale on this website are the intellectual property of Susann Bigglestone and the late John Bigglestone and are protected by international copyright laws. These products may not be downloaded or reproduced in any shape or form. All rights reserved.

The Village Studio grants you a limited license to access and make personal use of its Site and not to download (other than page caching) or modify it, or any portion of it, except with express written consent of The Village Studio. Our Contract With You
We will acknowledge your order by e-mail as soon as possible and an email from us confirming that your product has been dispatched constitutes acceptance by us thus forming a contract between us, the seller and you, the purchaser. If, for any reason we cannot accept your order, we will inform you by email, and we will not charge you for the product. This might occur if we detect operational errors or unexpected circumstances prevent us from completing the order.
You are responsible for checking that your order is accurate and that all the information we require is submitted. Incomplete or inaccurate information may lead to delays in your order which we are not liable for.
Please let us know if you wish to make a change to your order. We will let you know if it is possible to make the change you requested and advise on how this might affect delivery.
The images of the products on our Site are professionally produced to be viewed accurately on our calibrated monitors. Variations may occur on different monitors and there may be slight variations in print depending on the cardstocks used
When using our Site, you accept that we communicate with you electronically except in the rare instance that we may communicate by telephone.
‘Working days’ means Monday to Friday inclusive but excluding any statutory or bank holiday in England.
The Products remain our property until we have received payment in full, at which point ownership passes to you.
Loss, Damage and Defective Products
Our contract with you stipulates that the Products we supply to you will be as described and fit for the purpose for which this type of product is commonly supplied.
All items are securely packaged using appropriate packaging such as cardboard envelopes, boxes or postal tubes. If in transit, the packaging appears to have become damaged please refuse delivery as we are unable to entertain any claims for damaged goods if you have signed for them.
We ensure that each and every fine art print leave us in perfect condition. Fine art prints should be handled with care to avoid surface scratching. When unpacking the print, we ask that you use the cotton gloves supplied to you with your order to avoid damage prior to framing.
Our liability for any losses you suffer is limited to the purchase price of the Products.
Any defects in the product should be reported to us as soon as soon as possible. The Product/Products must be returned to us upon which we will ascertain the defect and notify you by e-mail of any refund due. The refund will then be processed as soon as possible.
Defective products will be refunded in full, including the relevant delivery charges.
Termination of Contract
You can end a contract with us if:
At our discretion, you may be able to end the contract when purchasing a made-to-order fine art print, if production has not yet taken place. Memo prints or greeting cards can be cancelled so long as the item has not been processed for delivery.
Your Right to Change Your Mind
Your right to change your mind depends on the type of product you are ordering. Items that we hold in stock such as greeting cards are refunded in full if the product is returned to us in the same condition it was delivered to you. This does not apply to bespoke products that have been produced and tailored to your specific needs.
If you do change your mind you must let us know within 14 days by email or by telephone, providing your name, home address, order number, phone and email address.
The Product/Products must be returned to us at The Village Studio, 1 Court Farm Stables, Heddington, Calne, SN11 0PN within 14 days of telling us that you wish to end the contract. When exercising your right to change your mind you will be responsible for any costs relating to postage.
Price of the Products
The price of the Products and any delivery costs will be calculated, in pounds sterling, when you complete your order form and will be the price as shown at the bottom of the order form, except in cases of obvious error.
Please be aware that products destined for overseas locations may be subject to local taxes and customs fees. The laws and regulations of the destination country apply. It is solely your responsibility to comply. We are not liable for any breach in these laws and regulations.
We reserve the right to make changes to our product and delivery prices as and when applicable due to increases in operational costs.
Payment
When you place your order you must stipulate your chosen method of payment.
Payment is by credit/debit card or PayPal at the time of order.
Delivery
We aim to deliver all Products within the timeframes described under Processing Times unless there are exceptional circumstances. We do not have any control when, for example, postal services are on strike. When there are known delays, we will communicate them to you.
When delays occur that are beyond our control, we will inform you as soon as possible and we will endeavour to minimise the effect of the delay. We are not liable when this occurs, but if there is a risk of substantial delay we may be able to grant you a refund for any Products you have paid for but have not received.
Processing Times
Card and print orders placed before 2pm Monday to Friday (excluding bank holidays) will normally be dispatched on the same day but may be delayed during very busy periods. We will send you an email to confirm that your order has been dispatched.
Items for ‘next day’ delivery should be placed before 1pm to guarantee the next day service.
Fine art prints are produced to order and will not be dispatched the same day. These may take up to 3 days to process
Ownership of the Products
The Products shall remain our property and ownership of the Products shall not pass to you until we have received payment in full. All our products are subject to our copyright and may not be copied in any form.

Where do you deliver?
We deliver worldwide.
Deliveries outside the UK are despatched using Royal Mail's Airmail Service or by courier. Our UK orders are also despatched by first class mail or courier. The particular service is specified by you.
You will be responsible for the cost of the delivery service you choose and this will be added the cost of your order.
What if my order has not arrived?
Please allow two working days for Royal Mail’s first-class service. Please note that Royal Mail should leave a card advising you that they have your order if it is too large to fit through your letterbox. It will be stored in your local distribution depot for you to collect. Other couriers will leave your item in a safe place specified by you.
In the event that your order has not been delivered within specified delivery times, please contact us to let us know that you have not received your order.
Can I Track My Order?
Tracking information is available on ‘Next Day’ delivery but is not applicable to First Class delivery.
Do You Offer Next Day Delivery?
You can select 'next day' delivery by courier for an additional charge.
Your order must be received before 1.00pm, to ensure 'next day' delivery is 100% guaranteed.
Next day delivery may not be available to remote areas of the UK
How Many Cards Or Prints Do I Have To Buy?
There is no minimum order.
Can I Buy More Than You Have In Stock?
Please contact us to order. Orders for out of stock items can still be ordered but will take between 7-10 working days.
